Married with two sons. High School in Cyprus and higher education at ODTU Ankara and Middlesex Polytechnic in London. Career in Finance and Management in Local Government and private sector. Currently semi-retired freelance Business and Management Consultant. Active in Turkish Cypriot Community in London since 1976 and in the Conservative Party since 1978.

Currently Enfield Councillor, was Mayor of Enfield in 2007/2008 also held cabinet positions in housing and community development and chaired Audit Committee.

Cllr Dogan Delman supports the Centre for Turkey Studies’ relations with political parties in the UK.
