Angus Brendan MacNeil MP was born Angus Brendan MacNeil on 21 July 1970 in Barra, Scotland and is the Scottish National Party MP for Na h-Eileanan an Iar. Currently sitting on the Liaison Committee (Commons) (since September 2015), Angus Brendan MacNeil chairs the Energy and Climate Change Committee (June 2015). He has in the past sat on Scottish Affairs Committee (Jul 2005 to Nov 2008). He was Shadow SNP Spokesperson (Tranpsort) (2010 to 2015), Shadow SNP Spokesperson (Constitutional Reform) (2010 to 2015), Shadow SNP Spokesperson (Scotland) (2008 to 2015), Shadow Spokesperson (Work and Pensions) (2007 to 2008), Shadow Spokesperson (Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) (2005 to 2010), Shadow Spokesperson (Culture, Media and Sport) (2005 to 2010) in opposition.
