Wed, 8 February 2023, 18:30 – 20:30 GMT
Committee Room 5, House of Commons London SW1A 0AA United Kingdom
Located in a geography with potential conflicts and uncertainties, Turkey seeks answers to global problems with peaceful solution methods in order to achieve peace, stability and prosperity in its region and beyond. In line with its long-standing enterprising and humanitarian foreign policy, Turkey has a leading role in conflict resolution and mediation. The most recent example of this is witnessed in the Ukraine-Russia war. Food corridor, the “Turkey-RF-Ukraine” trilateral meeting held at the Foreign Ministerial level and humanitarian efforts in Ukraine are the latest examples of these initiatives. CEFTUS is organizing a new event to explore the multiple roles of Turkey in Ukraine.
