CEFTUS 3rd Community Achievement Awards
The London-based Centre for Turkey Studies (CEFTUS) is preparing for the 3rd Community Achievement Awards which brings communities originating from Turkey and Northern Cyprus together to celebrate contributions to their communities and Britain as a whole.
Many distinguished guests including lords and MPs, business people, journalists and authors from Turkey and the UK will attend the awards ceremony.
Jury of the 3rd CEFTUS Community Achievement Awards include Baroness Hussein-Ece, Hackney Borough Councillor Feryal Demirci, Enfield Labour Councillor Yasemin Brett, Haringey Councillor Dilek Dogus, Director of Prickly Pear Ipek Ozerim, Haringey Councillor candidate Peray Ahmet, Solicitor Ibrahim Sal, Dr Teoman Sirri, Vildan Yetisal, Ayse Enguzekli, Enfield Concillor Yusuf Cicek, Abbas Kaya of Turkish Bank and business people Nural Ezel, Ali Matur, Hasan Dikme, Haydar Ulus, Mustafa Topkaya, Umut Selvi ve Sercan Erkaslan. The jury is expected to expand with other representatives of Turkish, Kurdish and Turkish Cypriot communities.
