Ms. Arwa Ibrahim is a journalist at the London-based Middle East Eye. She specialises in covering social and political change in Turkey and Egypt. After graduating with a double major in politics and journalism, she completed her MA in Near and Middle Eastern Studies with a focus on social movements, modernity, the civil society and urban transformations. As well as being a journalist, Arwa has worked as a researcher with several NGOs and international organisations focusing on political and social developments of the Middle East.
