CEFTUS is seeking a new Project Officer

The Centre for Turkey Studies (CEFTUS) is seeking a new Project Officer to help with project management, administrative tasks, event organisation and office management.

CEFTUS organises public forums and roundtable events, fundraising and networking receptions and awards ceremonies. CEFTUS conducts research projects, closely follows regional politics, and seeks to provide a bridge between Turkey and the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity as the successful candidate would also work on CEFTUS’ other projects and initiatives which include;

CEFTUS’ office is based just next to Waterloo station.

This position is full time and paid (London Living Wage). Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

Requirements:

Undergraduate or equivalent qualification

Prior experience carrying out a range of project management and events organisation tasks with attention to detail and accuracy to a high standard

Excellent written and oral English and Turkish communications skills

Strong marketing skills

Good IT skills

Able to multi-task and prioritise and complete all activities to a high standard

Desirable:

Driver’s licence
