Director Ibrahim Dogus Met with Columnist Fehmi Koru in Istanbul

The Centre for Turkey Studies continues to invite distinguished guests from Turkey to the monthly Westminster Debates held at the British Parliament.

After having invited Professor Istar Gozaydın, Muslim Sarı MP for Istanbul, Nuray Mert and many more prominent guests to the forum series in recent weeks,  the Centre for Turkey Studies was in Istanbul to invite more guests.

The director of the Centre for Turkey Studies, Ibrahim Dogus, and the centre’s aides in Istanbul, Hava Bakac and Gozde Gultekin, stated that they met with a number of eminent people including Fehmi Koru, Cengiz Candar, Fuat Keyman and Hasan Bulent Kahraman, and that there would be new events in the coming months.

The director of the Centre for Turkey Studies, Ibrahim Dogus, announced that Professor Fuat Keyman of Sabancı University and Professor Levent Koker will speak at a forum on the issue of highly debated new constitution in Turkey on 10th December after having Kadri Gursel as a speaker in the November Westminster Debate. Dogus stated that the preparations continue for another forum in the coming months in which Fehmi Koru and Hasan Bulent Kahraman would participate. He added that the centre will organize another event where columnist Cengiz Candar will sign his new book ‘Mezopotamya Ekspresi’.
