Dr. Muhammet Cakmak
Doc.Dr. Muhammed Cakmak is a professor of sociology of religion. He is also an advisor for the Leader of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), Mr. Kemal Kilicdaroglu. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Theology. Dr Cakmak started his academic career at Ankara University at the Department of Sociology of Religion. His main area of research are religious groups in Turkey, conservatism and democracy in Muslim countries.
