Mayor of London Sadiq Khan’s Message of Support for CEFTUS’ 7th Anniversary

“I would like to send my warmest congratulations to the Centre for Turkey Studies (CEFTUS) on their 7th anniversary and to the organisation for its vital role in strengthening Anglo-Turkish relations.

The British-Turkish community contribute greatly to the social and economic life of the UK and it’s great to see the work of the CEFTUS in helping to achieve this. The UK and Turkey cooperate on a number of important priorities including international policy, trade and investment, energy and counter-terrorism.

I welcome the work of the CEFTUS to help develop and improve the relationship between the UK and Turkey, for more security and prosperity.”
