The Centre for Turkey Studies (CTS) is pleased to invite you to a Westminster based forum featuring Ms Banu Guven. This CTS Westminster Forum is kindly hosted by Anas Sarwar, MP for Glasgow.
Ms Banu Guven is a prominent and outspoken Turkish journalist who will speak on the new Turkish media landscape, in particular on the issue of freedom of expression. The topic of the forum will be’Goverment, Media, Conflict and Peace: Limits to Freedom of Expression in Turkey”.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 17th of April 2013, between 19:00 and 21:00 PM, in Committee Room 11, House of Commons, Westminster. Please note that security checks are required to enter the House of Commons, so we kindly ask you to arrive at 18:30 PM, allowing the event to start and end promptly on time.
