Nick de Bois MP Says “I Support the Centre for Turkey Studies”

Although it has been just over a year since its inauguration in 2011, the Centre for Turkey Studies has operated ceaselessly and organised events and activities. Also, the support for the Centre for Turkey Studies from political party members across the political spectrum in the UK continues to increase.

Director of the Centre for Turkey Studies, Ibrahim Dogus and one of the centre’s supporters Giran Ozcan met with Nick de Bois Conservative MP for Enfield in the British Parliament to inform de Bois about the centre’s work.

Mr de Bois stated that he has been following the centre’s events and activities very closely and that he enjoys joining the Centre for Turkey Studies policy forums in Parliament, one of which touched on the issue of Turkey and Cyprus relations.  Mr de Bois added that he will continue supporting the centre in the future.

The Centre for Turkey Studies host regular events on Turkey. Over the past year the centre has invited a number of highly acclaimed politicians, commentators, journalists as well as politicians from Turkey and the UK to discuss Turkey’s political, economic and social developments over the recent years.
