The 2nd British Kebab and Retail Awards Shortlist
Candidates for the 2nd British Kebab and Retail Awards are now shortlisted. The awards, sponsored by the UK based takeaway online delivery service JUST EAT, will take place on the 14th January 2013 in Park Lane Sheraton.
Following the nominations of hundreds of successful kebab businesses for the awards, the British and Retail Kebab Awards Jury will select the winners in the next week. The jury committee is chaired by Mustafa Topkaya. Keith Vaz MP, Jonathan Reynolds, Isbank London Branch Manager Hasan Candan and businessmen Rami Ranger, Shany Gupta, Ali Matur, Nural Ezel, Paul Luther, Altan Kemal, Mark Evans, James Bresla and Vinesh Patel are members of the jury committee.
Organised by the Centre for Turkey Studies (CEFTUS), the British Kebab and Retail Awards aims to increase awareness of cultural and economic contributions that the various restaurants, suppliers and workers in the kebab sector make to the UK.
